This card is made by attaching decorative paper to the card front. |
We made this pretty starburst card at our last workshop. They are really easy and fun to make if you know a few measurements. You can make them with any decorative paper, a with random pattern like this one or with a regular pattern. (think alternating the orange and blue pattern paper)

strips. Then cut them in half diagonally. From here you can attach them directly to your card front, or to a 3"x5" scrap of paper. Either way you will need to mark the center. Then you
will be ready to lay your strips down. Start on either side of the center mark.

the scrap of paper. Trim the excess from the edges.
Add a strip of paper or ribbon
to finish the bottom edge. Add a greeting and you are good to go!

For the greeting, I used a tag cut from the Apothecary Accents framelits, cut it in half and trimmed the center edges. Then I punched two holes in the end, ran some linen thread thru the holes and tied a small piece of burlap ribbon on top. It gave a ribbon look with out all the ribbon- and something a little different!
